Joachim Almdal
Co-founder and client lead
Joachim brings deep commercial and strategic experience from the intersection of pharma, sustainability, and healthcare systems. He leads client relationships across top-tier pharmaceutical companies and drives CPC’s advisory work on care pathway decarbonization, affiliate strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Before founding CPC, Joachim built and led Green Innovation Group, establishing a track record of working with global pharma on sustainability strategy, market access positioning, and commercial transformation. He is a natural facilitator who translates complex sustainability challenges into actionable frameworks for senior leadership teams.
Joachim co-hosts The Sustainable Healthcare Podcast, where he has led over 100 conversations with leaders across pharma, medtech, healthcare systems, and sustainability.

Frederik van Deurs
Co-founder
Frederik is a medical anthropologist turned management consultant who brings a research-driven perspective to healthcare sustainability. His work focuses on evidence generation, innovation design, and translating complex data into consulting-grade strategic outputs.
He leads CPC’s work on EU-funded research and innovation projects, including collaborations under Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe-related programmes. Frederik combines qualitative and quantitative research capabilities with a sharp commercial lens, helping clients move from sustainability ambition to concrete action plans.
Frederik co-hosts The Sustainable Healthcare Podcast and is deeply interested in how AI-enabled workflows, care pathway redesign, and system-level thinking can accelerate decarbonization in healthcare.
